GRANDMA’S DRESSING FOR GREEN SALADS
Add equal amounts of vinegar, sugar, and oil to a jar with a lid.
Shake well to mix. I usually mix up the dressing using 1/3 cup of each, use what I need, and store the rest in the refrigerator.
Pour over a mixture of lettuce and other fresh vegetables—tomatoes, carrots, avocado, cucumber, celery, green onion, etc.
Ground pepper or a little grated cheese (Jarlsburg is my favorite) can be added at the last minute.
