WILD DUCK

A recent newspaper article stated that “wild duck is a challenge to cook.”

I agree. The Zimmerman hunters have brought home many a duck and I have tried, truly tried, to cook it so it’s edible.

I’ve tried frying, roasting, and smoking, all to no avail.

Ted has had some luck with marinating small pieces of the breast in teriyaki sauce, rolling it in flour, and deep frying. Makes a good appetizer, he says.
