Ginger Snaps

"From Hazel -- Recipe we all used when we lived in Sullivan."

1/2 cup sugar
1 1/8 cup lard
1 cup molasses
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 ginger
2 teaspoons soda
4 cups flour (I used less)

Roll in small balls size of walnut. Bake in slow oven - 350.
