I hope you enjoy this original recipe as much as I did when I received it in a Mother’s Day card from Granddaughter Jordan Grace when she was about 5.

½ cup water
1 stick butter
½ cup milk
6 strawberries
2 cups oil
½ cup sugar
2 cups flour
Stir oil, water and flour with a spoon.

Roll out to make 2 crusts. Put one crust on bottom of pan.

Smash it down with your thumb.

Cut strawberries with a little knife and put in pie.

Melt butter and put in pie with strawberries.

Put crust on top and smash edges with thumbs. Dump all the milk and sugar on top. Spread with a knife. Bake in oven at 2.
