Wedding Kucken

This is Cousin Hamman's Recipe.
When she came to visit she brought an ice cream pail full of these, separated by wax paper.

1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup cream
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup butter or shortening
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking powder
6 cups flour

Filling:
2 cups cream
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla

Combine ingredients for custard filling and cook until slightly thickened, then cool.

Roll small portions of dough out to fit bottom of pie plate. Ladle in a generous portion of custard, sprinkle with a few graham cracker crumbs mixed with a little cinnamon and sugar.

Bake until custard is set.
Store in refrigerator.
Cut in 6 or 8 wedges to serve.
