White Sugar Cookies
"To Decorate for Christmas."
I found this recipe recorded in two different places.
The scond one had the notation, "Lee", from which I assumed must be one of the cookies my Dad especially liked.
2 Cups butter
2 cups powered sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon soda
4 teaspoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
5 cups flour
Cream butter and add sugar, egg and soda dissolved in the milk. Add vanilla.
Mix in the flour and roll thin, cut and bake.
